System update and app update

It has been a few weeks without any update to the system or app.
Could we have a timeline of when we can expect this?
A lot of feature requests and issues were posted so it would be nice to see some updates
Thanks

In the livestream on Friday the Yarbo Moderator let us know the new updates would be this week, barring anything uncovered during final testing. This includes the first drop of Tow Mode, which will work with the SAM and the mower.

Thank you for reaching out!

As @Ken mentioned, the new update is currently in the final testing stage. We are taking some extra time to optimize the upcoming release based on the feedback we’ve gathered. If everything goes smoothly, we are expecting the update to be ready by next week.

Once it’s released, we will provide a detailed release note outlining all the changes and improvements. We truly appreciate your patience, and we’re excited to share the update with you soon!

Yarbo, another week’s gone by!

Please define “soon”

The delay is due to our ongoing efforts to collect feedback from our PPP users regarding the new update. We’re actively optimizing it based on the issues they’ve reported, as we want to ensure the release is as stable and reliable as possible.

Based on the current feedback, the update should be ready for release very soon—assuming no new issues come up during the final checks.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

I know, I am also eager to get an improved software experience.
On the other hand if they did not implement thorough testing and all customers experienced issues at the same time when a new version is released, can you imagine the chaos and complaints?
I am glad they are taking the time to iron out any bugs found by early testers so that the new release is as stable as possible.

I think they are bitting off more than they can chew. I own a software company, and when a release takes this long, it’s usually because too much is being added. Big features take time, but bug fixed shouldn’t take more than a couple weeks. There are a LOT of bugs in the current production release, so I wouldn’t have expected a release in 2 weeks that fixed all of them, but they should be releasing more often with bug fixes. I think if we, as users, saw updates coming regularly, with improvements every release, everyone would be more patient waiting for “their” issue to get resolved. It’s been months since the last release, and we are all dealing with an array of problems.

With the amount of issues we’re having, it’s possible they did some major architectural overhauling. Hard to say. If the architecture was sound, and they just needed to iterate, handle more cases, etc., then I fear for this next update, as they are only beta testing with their pioneer users. These are the same users that beta tested the previous release, and that one was atrocious.
