Not buying back the product that you shipped me this year (As being brand new) is a little more than dissapointing. 200 bucks off is kind of a slap in the face for early adopters. And late August shipping just means it will be September which will be near the end of the season, so little reason to order this year.
I don’t think I will be sending
Yarbo any more money…sadly.
Tim
So it took a few to get back to this because of all the other things going on. So I think this could be a great thing. I understand, so many other things are going on, and need to get better first. I just need GPS to get on point before anything else gets done. More powerful motors, means more power draw to the battery.(Core,Mower(older,Newer Pro),Trimmer,Snow Blower, Ect.) So I’m good for now let’s get ALL THE BUGS worked out first. Then sell me wonderful things in the future!!! Sales, has everything full steam! Let’s get everything else up to that level. We have some great folks here, helping out with all kinds of great input. Thanks to everyone. You all know who you are. I couldn’t be PPP. No FB account. Shame, I lost that years back to go into Law Enforcement. Yarbo said no FB no PPP for me. No worries won’t lose sleep, but I love to help folks just like me.Landscape Business Owner/Operator, was looking to be a Dealer for Yarbo in the South East US if everything goes well. We’ll see what goes on. Still watching and waiting.
I read different posts and one thing I understood in all this is that they don’t have enough programmers to do everything they want! I know it may seem stupid but wouldn’t it be time to open their code to everyone so that everyone can help them? (maybe afraid of the Chinese who already have all their code and copy the whole machine)! So that we can all develop what we really expect from this super versatile machine? There are a lot of possibilities with this machine, it’s crazy! look at MYQ they had opened their application. When they decided to close (because of too many hacking attempts) hahaha (now hackers can no longer try to hack your account hahahahahah the good joke) they lost the support of the whole community and took up several ideas and even how to open the door from a tesla lol and now everyone turns their back on them. There are solutions 10x cheaper and open source lol All this to say that it would grow much faster and could concentrate on the creation of other modules so that everyone finally has the mower they are waiting for! (software level) because the hardware is really wow! Thank you for taking the time to read me and have a good day everyone
I, too, am disappointed that my Yarbo mower of fewer than 4 months may not be exchanged for the mower pro. When you think about it, however, my new computer was obsolete 30 days following my purchase as was my new TV. My new car was announced as being entirely remodeled in the following model year and my new Tuxedo was out of style the very next year after only a single wearing.
I am not going to leap right into the new mower pro but maybe next spring I will look into it. Currently I have my M1 configured so that I am mowing the checkerboard every two mows and am running it all night. Mowing at 2.7 inches with an 8 inch overlap my lawn (a little better than 1 hectare) has never looked better. My wife even is taking credit for suggesting we purchase the Yarbo.
That is true to the degree that my TV and computer as well as my car delivered what they advertised (from a hardware perspective) and my car (tesla) got a lot better over time…
At the moment yarbos software is not reliably working, they try to fix hardware flaws with new models, and once again they seem to miss a shipping date (trimmer)
Can we get that narrowed down at all? I mean, is the “first batch” going to be rolled out over the next few weeks “by the end of August”, or is it going to be more like one big batch all shipped out in the last week of August?
