It’s finally time to change Yarbo into his “Summer Shoes” and convert him to lawn mower mode.
With my luck, we’ll end up getting a record setting blizzard tonight! But I’m gonna throw caution to the wind and take the risk anyway!!

It’s mow time! This was mine mowing yesterday. Got to put the mower head and summer shoes on the other one too.

RTK low mounted ones, of course!

Got my Yarbo converted back to lawn care duty!
He’s looking forward to warmer weather, and he said something about getting a sun tan….
Unfortunately it’s gonna rain tomorrow, so no test run for the next few days. But at least he’s ready to roll!
I forgot to mention yesterday…
After examining Yarbo’s winter tracks and gear train, I am pleased to say I was unable to find ANY signs of wear or damage. The underside of the tracks looks essentially perfect. The drive wheels don’t have unusual play or wear. The snowblower belt was also in perfect condition, with no signs of wear or areas of concern.
I was expecting to find something that would need refurbishment or at least something questionable. Nope. Yarbo was in great shape, and aside from putting on new grease, I didn’t find anything that needed work at all. Now that’s a well made robot!
