Got awakened by family in the middle of the night complaining that “my” Yarbo was mowing, making noise and disturbing people.
Turns out that last night, Yarbo was on its dock charging when the task schedule end time hit, ignored it and resumed its work plan when battery level reached 80%.
Work plan got manually canceled in a hurry to restore peace, now I have no way to know where it stopped and where to resume as work history has been missing from the app since the last “upgrade”
I believe this was already reported before and requested as an enhancement, but it is a serious bug. I really hope this gets fixed in the upcoming software update, I won’t be able to continue using the scheduler until this is resolved.
It looks like for SOME people the End Time in a schedule is ignored, while for others it is honored. The End Time as currently implemented cancels the Work Plan. But some users have reported nope, the Work Plan will go on. Weird.
Yarbo is going to make changes to the Scheduler, and we threw a ton of “suggestions” at them a few weeks ago in a big discussion here with some more on FB. It’ll be interesting to see what they come up with.
Yep, same here. I call it in manually at bedtime. Instead of stopping your plan, just click recharge. That will pause the plan and you can resume in the morning at the same place. If it’s on the charger at bedtime you have to manually resume and then click recharge to pause for the night. I watch the power level in the evenings and manually recharge just before it auto recharges. That pauses the plan for the night. A hassle? Yes.
Yeah that’s what I am doing if am am able to monitor Yarbo personnally. Unfortunately not the entire family is trained to manually handle Yarbo, they hit the Stop button because, well, this loud robot needed to be stopped…
The issue with missing work plan history will be resolved in the next update.
Additionally, I’ve shared your case regarding the schedule malfunction with our product team for further investigation.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding!
