Yarbo, can you please stop sending me emails after I visit your site or purchase a part from it! Very annoying to get emails about my new Yarbo coming, I only bought parts to fix it. Some call it spamming.
I have to admit, they really do love to spam my inbox after I visit their site for any reason.
Using Safari browser with content blocking activated seems to significantly cut down on it though.
I use Safari and haven’t noticed spam emails after going to the site. What I did find funny was after I bought the track grease I got an email like I just bought a full Y Series and to prep me for setting up the robot.
That was your hint to buy another core! ![]()
Yes, as existing customers this is annoying. I also don’t like this behavior as a new customer either. It’s very off putting.
That is part of what I am talking about.
FyI:
If you use the Yarbo phone app to open the Yarbo web page, you WILL end up getting the spam. That browser bypasses Apple’s privacy protections.
So only browse the Yarborough website using the full Safari browser. NOT through the Yarbo app.
If you are logged into the Yarbo website, even with Safari, you will get the spam.
Feels like a timeshare vibe.
The marketing department is way more efficient any of the others.
Made me laugh…in a bad way.
Strange because I haven’t noticed that.
Login to the website and go view something in the accessories store. Or go throw something in your cart. You’ll get an email pretty quickly. If not within a day. Check your SPAM folder. I have Yarbo emails whitelisted, so I get them all.
I even started to get Yarbo advertisements on other websites and platforms. It’s a lot. lol
I just did this. It’s been 10ish minutes and no email (opened All Mail to make sure it wasn’t going into a category).
Tried it in Chrome, logged into email in browser, logged into yarbo.com, added accessories to the cart.
Maybe my NextDNS is blocking a domain…

I’m not mad ![]()
I guess the rest of us are getting yours. Thanks! ![]()
Stop touching a hot stove, @Tom.C!
3 days ago I placed an order, tonight I got another email that is what brought this up. It is at least the second email spamming me about my new yarbo on the way.
My last Yarbo spam email was yesterday. I should try and keep track of how many I get in a week….
