I use netrtk without DC for reference. It’s not so good if I get too far away from my wifi so I have to set up DC.

DC is still needed for HaLow unless you have crazy good wifi or cellular.

Yes I know but can work without Halow. not so good wifi we have to have 2 networks to cover most of the house. can’t connect the map because there is no wifi in the upper right corner.

Indeed it can work without HaLow. Just HaLow usually goes further than WiFi coverages.
