Allow start and resume without GPS

Currently mobile app wont allow start on resume plan without strong GPS signal. This is quite annoying considering that at least in my location GPS status flaps on and off constantly even at open areas. Now user need wait and hit again and again start and resume button until it finally start. It would be much better that user can just queue start and it will automatically start/continue when GPS signal return. As it will do when it already runs.

Agreed. “Yarbo will start operations automatically when GPS signal recovers” should be the status message when you hit start or resume with poor GPS.

And they could build a timeout into that, so if GPS doesn’t recover after X amount of time, the job gets cancelled and a notification is sent to your phone alerting you to the cancelled job.

I would actually prefer it just keep trying but send me an alert that “GPS signal hasn’t recovered for 15 mins, please consider moving Yarbo to an open area or wait longer for it to auto recover.” Send that alert every 15 mins.

That works too, as long as we receive the alerts.

I just wouldn’t want to think Yarbo has been out working, but in reality it’s been stuck all day long waiting for GPS.

Alerts need to be reliable for sure. Repeat notifications can help with this reliability. At least one of a repeat would get through, I’d hope. If it canceled the plan it would just sit there and wait for manual intervention. At least with continuing to try, it will hopefully eventually get enough signal to start moving again.

Pleas NO. Absolute no! It can send notification but it is absolute horrifying regression if it stop because of that. There is already too many reason what cause job cancellation without proper reason that I dont want more of those.

yes that I agree. It would be good to get repeating notification about that and preferrably also from other errors.
