Sitting watching the Scutter do its thing on anew patch of grass.
Why not have the plan do the boundaries of the NGZs as Yarbo gets to them.
The other idea is to have yarbo mow the small areas (the shadow behind a NGZ) and any dead-end areas before carrying on. These 2 ideas would save a lot of wasted battery running around getting all over the place when yarbo is going to be going there in the normal corse of mowing.
Adaptive does this. Wish they would bring it to all patterns.
Not keen on the all over the place mowing that happens under Adaptive
Completely understand that. I feel the same.
Hi there,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. As Bryan mentioned, the Adaptive route can already achieve something similar, though I understand it may not fully meet your needs.
If more users show interest in this idea, I’ll be happy to pass it along to our product team for further consideration.
I fully support this idea, as I mow 5 acres and have multiple no-go zones around the yard. With the fact that my driveway splits my yard, Yarbo makes multiple trips back and forth wasting battery. I know about splitting my are, but I like the lines.
Adaptive pattern showed promise last year, but it hasn’t progressed at all since then.
They really need to apply some dedicated development resources to each of the modules. All the modules suffer when they bounce development around reactively.
Don’t forget to up vote at the top!
What’s with the 80 votes thing?
They seem to go gangbusters of the current seasons module and get everything mostly running by the end of the season.
Only to have that work undone by the next seasons updates.
For some reason there is a limit on the amount of times one can vote.
But why??
Do we get more, or is the voting supply limited and running out?
No clue. Hopefully @Yarbo-Forum can shed some light on it. It’s a fairly new feature that was enabled. Unfortunately, it reset all the previous hearts on the suggestions and feature requests initial posts. So we don’t know realistically what was up voted before.
Thinking maybe we should have a section in the Forum to tag all the issues being voted on.
I have adjusted the vote limit, so feel free to cast your vote for any suggestion you’d like to see implemented.
Thank you, I had assumed that it was just some arbitrary number that was dished out.
But now my cup overflows!
