What’s the status of the Power Board Waterproof Coating
Hi,
Thank you for highlighting this—it’s a great example of the real-world complexity we’re working to address.
We do have plans to separate map views based on the active module, so when you’re using the mower, you’ll only see mowing-related areas, and the same for snow removal. This will significantly reduce confusion and make switching between seasons much more seamless.
Also, just to better understand your use case—does your snow removal area fully overlap with your mowing area? Insights like this help us fine-tune how we approach module-specific mapping and path management.
What is the likelihood that we could use the “follow-me” features to do the mapping of a new area?
Hi,
That’s a great question—and I appreciate the enthusiasm around Yarbo’s towing capabilities.
We’ve made structural and material improvements to the new tow hitch, especially when paired with the BBM (Back Brace Mount). Internal tests have shown promising results, including higher towing potential.
That said, we’re still finalizing validation, and until then, the official towing capacity remains 500 lbs for the current version available. We’ll update the spec once extended testing confirms consistent performance under real-world conditions.
Thank you sir
If the mowing discs are coming in this week, can we pay for overnight shipping? I am without a mower until I get new discs. Happy to pay extra to get my unit back in business. Thank you.
Any plans to make a mower mount similar to the BBM so that the trimmer could be mounted on the mower module while the blower module could be simultaneously attached to the rear? This was something I was really hoping for. The ability to mow, trim, edge, and blow off the driveway and sidewalks afterwards. The constant swapping of these modules really removes the autonomy.
Also, would it be possible to flip the trimmer head upwards like you can do with a traditional trimmer and maybe do some manual edging with it?
Hi,
Thank you for the thoughtful input—and yes, your understanding of friction and normal force is absolutely correct.
You’re right that increasing vertical load can improve traction more effectively than simply towing added weight. While our earlier towing recommendation was based on real-world results reported by some users, we’re now exploring more targeted solutions—such as a load basket or weighted attachment that applies direct downward force onto the tracks. It’s a direction we’ll continue to test, and if successful, we’ll offer it as an upgrade option for existing users.
We’re also actively working on track design improvements that could further enhance grip without relying solely on added weight.
As for motor power—future higher-end versions of Yarbo will include more powerful motors to meet the needs of tougher environments and heavier tasks.
Really appreciate you sharing this level of detail—it helps guide our engineering roadmap.
My use case for snowblower vs. mower mapped items:
I have snowblower Areas, Sidewalks, and Pathways throughout my property so I can get around to our shed, to get firewood, to get to the back door and the bulkhead to the basement, and so on, and these are on the grass. There is a VERY complex Pathway and Sidewalk system connecting it all, with double-wide Pathways and Sidewalks that must be done in a particular order in the Work Plans.
I am now adding Areas and other mapped items for mowing, and these new mowing Areas completely cover the snowblower Areas (and other mapped items) that are on the grass, so it’s a 100% overlap of mower over snowblower.
Here is a picture of the current map - and it’s only about half done for the mower. It’s missing Sidewalks because the mower module is on at the moment. A good example area is just right of center, the small rectangle is snowblower, the massive blob on top of it is mower, and it will be covered completely when I finish mapping for the mower.
Hi,
Great questions—and thank you for paying such close attention to the details.
We are planning to include a redesigned, elevated emergency stop button with the trimmer and back brace kit as part of our safety improvements. As for the battery cover, that’s still under evaluation—we’ll confirm once the design is finalized.
The weight of the back brace and trimmer is also being finalized. Once specs are locked in, we’ll update the official website with all the details.
And yes—your point about naming Data Centers in the app is a very valid one, especially for users managing multiple units. It’s now on our internal list for UX improvements.
Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback.
I seem to be having the same issue as everyone else with the lack of parts transparency on when parts will be available also, with the latest update my Yarbo is having trouble returning to the docking station and charging. It is also going around obstacles that do not exist and is also transiting outside of known areas,
Explain what is known about these errors when they will be fixed and why Yarbo is not being forthright about supply chain issues
Snow blade:
I have discovered the snow blade is not very useful at my site. It gets stuck too quickly.
It might be more useful if it has the ability to blank to the left and/or right beside a straight configuration to push snow.
Blanking allows the plow to push snow to the side(s) easier - similar to the snowplow on my tractor. Perhaps, Yarbo with a snow blade would not get stuck so quickly?
Yes—if you’re located in the U.S., we can absolutely help with that. Please reach out to Yarbo Support with your order details, and we’ll coordinate expedited shipping to get your mower back up and running as quickly as possible.
Thank you sir!
thank you Allen. I have an open ticket about my orders and have indicated I would pay for overnight shipping.
Thank you for bringing this up—and I really appreciate you helping introduce Yarbo to the tech college.
We’ve already implemented a solution to address the power board issue you mentioned.
Please have someone from the college contact our support team directly. We’ll check the unit they received and confirm whether it includes the latest hardware version—and if not, we’ll make sure the right steps are taken.
Thank you for this message—and I hear you.
You’re right. In some of our earlier messaging, especially during launch and pre-orders, we were overly optimistic in how we communicated Yarbo’s capabilities. That wasn’t our intent, but I take full responsibility for it.
We’re a young company building something that’s never been done before—and sometimes, in our excitement to share the vision, we didn’t strike the right balance between ambition and current reality. That’s something we’re actively working to correct.
Trust is everything, especially at this stage. Our focus now is to communicate more transparently, deliver meaningful updates, and let the product speak for itself. Your feedback is a reminder of what matters most, and I truly appreciate it.
Thanks for the reply and the hard work your team is putting in!
It should be noted that these images are the current messaging on the site. Please correct; sometimes its as simple as adding “*coming soon”.

Hi,
Thank you for the kind words—and for recognizing the effort our team is putting in. It really does mean a lot to all of us.
You’re spot on. Reducing the number of screws and moving toward more tool-less, quick-attach designs is exactly the direction we’re headed. The accessories we’re currently developing—including mounts and covers—are being redesigned with usability and seasonal switching in mind. Your feedback about the RTK mount and S1 cover is a great example, and we’re already exploring upgrade options for existing users.
Thanks again for being part of this journey—and I’ll be sure to pass your message along to the team (and to Ethan and Rachel too!).
