Auger not working!!!

I found a site that sells them for $5.30, but it ships from China.

Amazon has them.

Support is sending me out a replacement. Would be nice to have spares when this happens again.

I ordered one from Amazon. We will see how that works out.

My belt just broke, is there a video/tension spec?

Not yet I don’t think. At least one “click”. :joy:

Back up and running, I wonder if slope mode might be contributing? It’s typically pushing some snow back to the top and then engaging the motor…

Finally got a koolaid-man busting through a snow drift video😁

And a great video of why zero turns don’t work good.

So finally got an Amazon belt. Anyone know what I need to do to replace. Do I just remove that one part the belt goes into?

I haven’t seen or heard of an official replacement video. You could ask support if they have one they could provide, but I’d imagine you’d just need to remove enough to slip the belt on.

Please post some pics or a video showing what you ended up needing to do in order to replace it.

And hopefully this will be the one and only time you ever need to do this!

So I went and looked at some photos. It looks to me that you likely need to remove the motor bracket bolts and then you can get the belt on. Looks simple enough if that’s all that needs to be removed/reinstalled.

So I got it but it was very difficult. That motor bracket doesn’t come off completely and those belts are super stiff. Got it back on but a couple bolts are a bit wonky. Hopefully holds up!! Wish they would show how is most efficient.

Congrats on the fix! Glad to hear your Yarbo is back up and running.

Did you see anything that would suggest why the original belt broke in the first place?

I’m a dummy and ran that thing through icy packed snow and the core was packed with snow lol. Likely my fault!!!

Let’s just hope you never have to replace the belt again!!

I finally received my factory direct replacement belt. I wish I took some photos, but I would strongly suggest you DO NOT remove the screw in the upper corner. Only unscrew it enough to slip the bracket out. If you do remove it, you stand a chance of dropping it into the void of the blower(ask me how I know…) I had to remove the scrapper assembly to retrieve the screw. Otherwise, it was a simple replacement.

For anyone who needs it, this is posted now.

Did Yarbo provide instructions or a video? If you could share those that would bring some comfort to those of us who have not had to replace the belt YET.
