Oh. Thanks. I’m only unplugging the wired plug, not the battery cable to the core. I will have to try to unplug the battery cable.
@emad1996 - here are the steps I did from about 6 or 8 weeks ago.
Use the cord they sent with it and plug it in for 2 hours.
-
Turn it off / pull the plug to the battery and let it sit for 4 hours.
-
A Miracle apparently happens
-
Turn it back on and see what happens - hopefully its all better now, if you have my core continue to 5.
-
Open a ticket for a replacement battery
-
Wait a week and have a lot of calls, emails and frustration
-
You finally get approved for a new battery
-
Wait, wait wait.

I just did steps 1-4 again, its like watching the movie Groundhog Day.
I had to do it about a week or so ago.
I had been deliberately watching as my battery’s max charge slowly declined more and more.
I first tried disconnecting the battery for 1.5 hours. Nope. Didn’t work. Tried again with 2.5 hours. Nope. Then tried with 4 hours - BINGO! It actually worked, and I’ve been charging to 100% ever since.
Thanks Mike. Hopefully I can go only to step 3. I’m at work now and I asked my son to unplug the battery until I get home and plug it again. if nothing happened. I will follow your trick
@emad1996 - Good Luck!! Hope it works for you!!
Thanks Robert. I had this issue now couple of times so far. Unusually, I only unplug the wired cord for 4 hours then plug it again, it seems to work. Now I hear I may need to unplug the battery too. if that does not work, I will shut it down completely and unplug the battery. This is an annoying issue, especially if there is a lot of snow to clean.
Hope it works.
I was honestly a bit skeptical about the “4 hour reset” myself until it actually worked on my Yarbo!
I just did the 4 hour un-plug trick. Total failure, it left my garage after 4 hours with 76% - shot up to 82% in less than 30 min and now after 2 more hours still at 82%.
I think the 4 hour unplug is just another way for Yarbo to kick the can. It is not working for most if not just about all of us.
@Yarbo-Forum - do you like all of your customers pissed off? How can this be an enjoyable job?
Sorry to hear you’re running into this issue. If unplugging the battery for 4 hours doesn’t resolve it, please feel free to submit a support ticket so our team can take a closer look and assist further.
Just got word I am getting another battery (last one was replaced less than 3 weeks ago). Great. I asked if the first was a refurbished battery and all I was told was the next one will be brand new. I guess that answers the question then.
