Better option than Work Twice

lol. I was gonna try addressing the bot too!

I wonder if it only works for employees.

Hahahah whomp whomp. I was like this cool as hell.

I actually took a couple of screenshots as well, thinking maybe it was a mistake that they revealed the bot’s existence.

Maybe an improved perimeter, where it only does 3/4 sides or it does 1 side, runs the first interior pass to the opposite side and then does that edge before the 2nd pass back to the starting side. It could also just consider the first 2 passes or so along the perimeter as the 3rd side of the “perimeter” needed to make turn around space.

My personal preference would be a check box for “Clean perimeter after area complete”.

If that box is checked, the snow blowing direction UI element could be displayed and re purposed to chose which side(s) of the perimeter you want Yarbo to clean up.

The assumption is that Yarbo must blow the parimeter snow out of the area, so by drawing the desired areas, you can decide where it’s acceptable for Yarbo to do so.

@ben.karrow @rgloverii We’re still testing the AI bot at the moment and plan to make it available to you soon. Please note that the bot’s responses are based on existing content within the forum, so in some cases the information may not be completely accurate.

We’ll have to have community notes added:grin:

@Yarbo-Forum Here’s an example of yarbo getting stuck on the piles of snow it made in the zero turn areas on the perimeter. I didn’t have it go out again immediately, and the piles started to freeze.

If the developers are worried about where the snow will go after clearing the area, then follow us humans lead and make more perimeter laps before starting the main area where the snowblower will be turning around (like on the right and left side of the below rectangular area picture).

@Greg Thanks for providing the video. I completely understand your point in this case.

We can see how the snow piles created in the zero-turn areas may freeze over and then cause Yarbo to get stuck later. We are also planning to optimize some zero-turn scenarios in the next update to help reduce this kind of issue.

Thank you again for sharing the feedback.
