Blade Height Auto Adjust Back Up

When you install the dock there is a swing test you can tap and execute. There isn’t a specific clearing test that I am aware of, although that would be nice.

Ugg, this almost had me landscaping again:sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile:, was using smart vision to drive up front to do some maintenance(still missing waypoint mode with mower, wink wink) and unexpectedly got stuck crossing into the front yard through the gravel section…backed up gave it another go, tried to back up further and got stuck again trying to go further backwards over the “flush edging” and then it dawned on me the blades were probably low again!:man_facepalming::man_facepalming::man_facepalming:, yup…raised them and drove on no problem until one of the kiddos thought it would be fun to hit the estop:sweat_smile::zany_face::joy:…(also excited for 2 way talk wink wink:winking_face_with_tongue::grin:)

Please undo this feature or make it optional and/or auto raise once you leave the dock…maybe at least to the 2.7” “safe height”:+1::+1::+1:

Hi @rcguymike Thanks for sharing this! That suggestion has already been submitted to our team earlier for consideration.

I agree, this is a problem and should be corrected.

Is it just me or after the update does it only go down to 2.4” now instead of all the way?

Haven’t noticed but that would be a good start if so. @Yarbo-Forum is this a new feature?

Hi there, we did not make any changes related to this behavior in the latest update. So what you’re experiencing is not expected and should be looked into further.

Sure I read this right in the middle of swapping on the snowblower and winter tracks, but I plugged the mower back in and it cycled the whole range fine. I don’t have any areas set to 2.4” 2.7” is the lowest I go.

Nifty that it detects “loose modules” too

Did you power down before swapping modules? All kinds of odd things can happen if you hot swap.

You may not have an area set that height but what about a pathway?

As Bryan mentioned, could you please double-check the blade height settings for the pathway areas? If the blade height isn’t the cause of what you’re seeing, then our support team may need to look into it further. Just let us know, and we’ll be happy to help!

I’m fairly sure(90%) I have all pathways at 4” except 1. There’s only 1 I mow and that should be set at ~3.5”. Too cold to put the mower back on now. Would be nice to be able to edit all module settings at any time…even while running plans(just lock the plans/areas currently being used).

Completely agree. I’ve been asking for that feature for a while. Darn inconvenient to swap a module to take a screenshot for someone or check/tweak something when you’re thinking about it.

Darn you can’t…and you were right it lowers way down and catches on the edging even though the path is set to the max ~2”(which would work…)…works at 0 passes for now though, maybe if the snow pack builds up it’ll work alright

After reconfirming with the team, the disc lowering logic has been updated. Previously, Yarbo would lower the discs fully after docking to make it easier for users to clean the area. However, since most users don’t perform cleaning immediately after docking, we adjusted the behavior to strike a better balance between safety and convenience. Now, the discs lower to approximately 2.4 inches (mid-position) instead of going all the way down.

Thanks Marco. This feature request was recently marked accepted. Was this the final solution or is there still work being done and this is an interim solution?
