Is it harmful to change modules while powered up? It seems to work okay but I am just concerned that it might short at the connector.
Hot swapping is technically supported but Yarbo does now recommend powering off first. You definitely have a better experience doing so. Hot swapping can cause the cameras to stop working and other weird glitches until you reboot. I’ve always powered down because I’ve had the same concern about shorting.
While it may be technically possible to hot swap modules, it’s much much kinder to the electronics to power down before swapping.
So short answer - Always power down first.
