Charging Pad clearance

It seems that a lot of people would like to see a better charging pad clearance capability. Many people are discussing, including myself, the desire to back into an enclosure of some sort that would still allow satellite signal (fiberglass, plastic, etc). However, Yarbo will drive up to the pad forward first, then do a 7 point turn around and then back in.
It would seem that a solution would be to simply provide an option for a 180 degree zero point turn just short of the pad, and then back on to it as it already does. This is tough on grass, but reduces the area needed for the pad as well as many people making platforms for the pad anyway.
I would like to be able to enclose the Yarbo to protect from direct sunlight, Heavy rain, hail, etc.

my suggestion would be for them to change the current docking procedure so that it does a zero or smart turn (based on working preferences) in the open area directly in front of the pathway and then back up the entire pathway and then continue backing onto the dock. You could then extend the docking station pathway as long as is necessary to safely have the rover turn and back in. To enhance this feature, I would recommend that they also have it support when starting an automated work plan that it has an option to drive a preconfigured number of feet straight forward so that it can leave the enclosure and gain GPS signal and then it can proceed to execute the work plan.

Not it?

I’m thinking he’s the one where it’s hitting the blocks holding open the doors. But yes, that would cause a zero turn directly in front of the docking station vs a 3 point turn.
