Hello everyone,
I know this option has already been requested and that it was interesting, but nothing has changed.
Could you add options to copy the mowing pattern? With the new trailer option, it would be incredibly useful to avoid having to create a new zone with the robot, especially since my property is large and I have a disability, so this would help me a lot. This way, I can create breaks in the trailer area or even in other zones to make it easier to blow leaves in areas where they fall, without having to manually create a new zone. Anyway, you get the idea, and I think for you it’s just adding an option, but for us it would save us a lot of time.
Thank you in advance if you could add this in the next update.
Hi there, I completely understand your need for this feature. Due to limited development resources, we need to carefully evaluate and prioritize requests based on the needs and feedback from our overall user community.
I’ll continue monitoring the community’s interest in this feature. If more users share the same request, I’ll help pass this feedback to our product team again for further consideration.
Thank you for sharing your suggestion with us.
I really don’t understand this answer because it’s just copying an area so we can create different routes or cut it without having to redo it ;-( and certainly avoid certain pitfalls that we’ve corrected over time in the original area ;-( So if you’re working based on the score you get, then I’ll stop here because I’m sure there are many people who use this software and your machine and they might also want this solution, but since they don’t vote, this option will never exist ;-( I’ll certainly reply to some messages, but I won’t suggest anything else. Have a good day everyone and take care
I understand your concern, and I’m sorry our previous response gave the impression that a feature can only move forward if it receives enough votes.
We receive many feature requests from the community, so voting is one of the signals we use to understand overall interest and help with prioritization, but it is not the only factor. We also look at the actual use case, how much value the feature could bring to users, technical feasibility, and our broader product roadmap.
In this case, we do understand the value of being able to duplicate an existing area and then adjust it for different routes or purposes, rather than having to recreate and fine-tune the entire area again from scratch. Your explanation makes the benefit of this feature very clear.
That said, based on our current priorities, this feature may not be among the items we can move forward with in the near term. I understand that this may be disappointing, but please know that a lower vote count does not mean a suggestion is ignored or will never be considered.
Thank you for taking the time to explain the use case so clearly and for continuing to share your experience with us.
