It would be helpful to be able to create guidance lines by setting an A point followed by a heading (90 degrees, 75, 180, etc) rather than having lines determined by the app. If one were then able to copy and paste this line from one area to all others it would create a more aesthetically pleasing finish.

Yes A-B would be helpful too
This isn’t just for aesthetics either. A straight line, created either by A+ heading or A-B, makes for a more efficient route (less time, less battery, less compaction, etc) as well as one that’s more pleasing to the eye. The straight line that one makes could be used, optionally, as the baseline for all routes except adaptive.
