Wondering if there is a way to create No Go Zones for trees through the App without the Yarbo present? I have small trees that are only a foot tall+ and want to create No Go zones for them. For some reason the Yarbo sees them during the day, but at night doesn’t recognize them and has mowed over about 10 small trees so far, some 2’ tall. And yes I have the ultrasonic sensor on. I see I can create circle no go zones labeled tree bush, but the Yarbo has to be right there. What I would like to see, or would be good is if I can place my phone against that tree and edit the cutting zone and add a tree no go zone 2’ in diameter around each one at the phones location. Is there a way to do this??? Other problem is the Yarbo doesn’t stop at my selected time for it to stop, yes I have it set to stop cutting at the selected time. I have 1000’s of small trees, I’m not looking to lose anymore
No way really except to drive Yarbo to them and then use a template or draw. But, you could try pool noodles on the base of the smaller trees. It should see those and avoid.
Currently, there is no way to create No-Go Zones for trees without having Yarbo present at the location.
As for the scheduling issue, could you please share your schedule settings and provide a bit more information about what you’re experiencing? The more details you can provide, the better we can investigate the root cause of the issue.

It is a little bit of a PIA, but you can create a NGZ next to the core while it is docked. Then edit and drag it to where you want it. I moved one about 700 feet.
I’ve also used this technique quite a bit. Especially when it’s super hot out and I don’t feel like standing out in the sun driving Yarbo tree to tree.
What I would really love is if we could also create mowing areas in the same way, even if they were only smaller target areas within a larger mapped area for one off touchup problem areas.
Here are my current settings. I tried changing my time zone to CDT, however for some reason always shows me GMT. Would be nice if the app showed current time somewhere in a firmware update 1 day.

I’ve watched you videos on this thing, sure it cuts some serious amounts of grass in the wide open, my yard is big and complicated with lots of small trees as well try to establish things. After losing the first tree, I hammered in 4 sticks around each one thinking it would see them. Instead it just mowed the sticks and trees down. It would be nice to have the option of having the app and zone open and adding trees within the zone based off the devices location. Just my thought on something you should strive for.
my lawn requires mowing every 3 days, I find it impossible to achieve this as I can only pic certain days to mow. An option to mow every 2 days 3 days etc or weekly would be nice option. I have a 7 acre yard, by no means do I think this Yarbo is capable of cutting it, I find with the fraction of yard I have already tried it out on, I figure it’ll take 2 days to cut. I’d like it to do more, but would like the option to have it cut every 3 days because I figure once I set up the remaining zones it gonna take that or more to complete them. Now my big question would be, if it was set to cut every 3 days, will it complete all the cutting zones before starting again? Or will it stop where it left off and start cutting over again and continue to miss the zones it never finished?
This is my current cutting zone and about 1/3 of what I’m looking to accomplish with it which would be under 6 acres.

Yes, I noticed that, however it’s hard to pin point the exact location of that tree. You can see in my pics where I once had trees and the size they were.
It would be a big game changer if you could do that. The down fall to driving the Yarbo there and creating that adjustable circle for a tree is, where is the actual circle? I’m guessing center of the Yarbo which is beside the tree. So creating a 2’ circle is pretty hit and miss. If it was to set that zone based off my phone or device against the tree, accuracy would be much better.
Tried 4 sticks around them, but the Yarbo mowed the trees and sticks down. Lol. Seems to be happening at night when it shouldn’t even be out. Thought maybe of doing 4x4 timber squares around the trees I’m concerned about. Have to try something. With the wind here, those pool noodles won’t last a few days.

If the issue where Yarbo does not stop at the scheduled time happens again, please submit a support ticket and provide the timestamp of when it occurred. Our team will investigate the issue further.
Regarding your suggestion about scheduling options such as mowing every 2 or 3 days, we have received similar feature requests before and have already passed this feedback along to our product team for consideration.
As for your question about what happens on the next scheduled run, you can configure this behavior in the schedule settings. There is an option to choose whether Yarbo should resume from where it left off or start over from the beginning on the next run.

Really, the wind would blow them off the trees? That’s some strong wind. The issue with sticks and the trees is that vision can’t see anything below 2 inches (I believe). So for it to see it, it would need to be bigger. But if the cameras ever have glare, are dirty, etc, then it still may not. Setting to gentle contact and putting something in place that could activate the bumper could work, but obstacle avoidance may send it down an unexpected path and miss any stakes or anything you put in place on the next one. Drawing NGZ’s around each tree would be your best bet. Or you could do a template and NGZ out the entire row of trees and then use dead ends or something to mow in between.

In my experience I NGZ EVERYTHING on my lawn.
You can place template NGZs remotely.
I usually drive Yarbo to the obstruction and stop next to it as close as I think i should mow. I then drop a template on the map and place and size it next to Yarbo and over the obstical.
I’ve dont most of my yards this way from 60 miles down the road. More complex ones I am present for.
