Hi, I was wondering if there are data logs that can be looked at for the Yarbo to see exactly what it’s been doing for how long? I would like to see how long each action the Yarbo does takes and power usage during operation etc.. I think my unit takes way longer to charge than advertised to go from 20% to 80%, so it would be nice to see on a data log that info.
Best thing you can try is to download the Home Assistant Integration (if you have Home Assistant). This will let you collect a lot of data.

If you would like to monitor certain data from your Yarbo, as Bryan mentioned, you can try the Home Assistant Integration, which allows you to collect and track additional information.
Regarding your concern about the charging time from 20% to 80% taking longer than expected, this could be related to Yarbo’s battery management system. When the battery temperature becomes elevated, Yarbo will automatically reduce the charging speed to help prevent overheating and maintain long-term battery performance.
If you could share more details, such as the actual charging duration, battery temperature during charging, surrounding temperature, and any relevant screenshots, we’d be happy to take a closer look and help determine whether this is expected behavior.
Ok, I may have figured out why battery was not charging correctly, I tipped the unit up and the bottom had a layer of matted wet grass on it and there was a clump of wet grass on the dock. I cleaned it off this morning so we’ll see how it affects it. Unfortunately I have to mow with dew or after a rain because if I don’t the unit can’t keep up missing days waiting for grass to dry. I do blow the unit off with a backpack blower and had just done that Monday (3 days ago) but that’s not enough I guess. Where do I find “charging duration” for my charges? The temp outside has been cooler and overcast the last few days with temps 31 for high and 19 for low and battery temp was 39 yesterday and 36 today on charger right now and seems to be charging faster.
Not sure what you mean by charging duration. But if it’s not hitting a thermal throttle. 20-80% charge should take about 1.5 hours. Probably 2-2.5 for 20-100%
Not sure either but “yarbo official” commented about it. I’m sure mine is taking a little more time than those listed. I am only trying to mow 3 acres at the moment ( I have 4.5 total that I mow). once the plan is calculated it shows anywhere from 15.2 - 19.8 hours depending on direction and settings but it is taking way longer than that. I started the 3 acres mowing on Monday approx 9:30am and it has only completed 82% at this time 1:17pm on Wednesday.
Ah, this could be for many other reasons. Adaptive slope will slow the core down, obstacle avoidance, poor GPS, etc. So it’s possible it’s a combination of some of those. You’d have to pay attention to your recharge times to know if it’s those or not. If it hits thermal throttle, then it could be slowing it down due to that.
I also notice it appears the WP estimated time is for forward movement only. So if your WP is 15 hrs it would only take 15hrs if it drove straight forward in a line with no charge.
My 2hrs and 45 min blower session ran for 2 hours (9-11am) and still had 1hr and 11 min left when it had to go back and charge. So in reality this is probably a 6-7 hours time frame with a single charge and quite possibly a second charge- based on my settings.

As for the charging issue, please feel free to keep us updated on whether the charging speed improves after cleaning the grass and debris from the unit and docking station.
