Will Yarbo execute a dead-end swath into a no-go zone? This is needed for mowing straight in and out of areas that might otherwise damage the antennas.
Yes, Deadends ignore No-go Zones. I found this out by actually doing it. I do hope that it’s intentional behavior and they don’t change it.
You do realize how wrong this is though…Right!?..Right??? It’s even in the name… NO GO zone… ![]()
But, I would settle for a warning and a manual override to allow this to work (have to enable a toggle for dead end NGZ override).
The implementation is definitely wron–uhhh…“unexpected.” Your override option is acceptable. They’d need to have some kind of notification if you add a No-go Zone later as well. But that’s getting fancy.
I miss this part of software development.
Yes, I mapped a couple deadends into no-go zones and it worked. Very useful.
Yes. There are tight areas that diagnonals will end up doing a gazillion zero-turns because it is too tight. I draw a NGZ around it then I draw dead ends in the areas that need mowing. If you start and finish the DE in a mapped area, it “most of the time” does not do a zero-turn (except the last turn before start)…
In short, we are using their “bugs” to implement new features! ![]()
