Love the community here and the fact that the Yarbo is saving me 4+ hours a week on a mower! One occasional issue I am having though is map drift. The Yarbo has had map drift twice and missed my gate in my 3.6 acre yard (full of obstacles). Would upgrading to the Antenna Pro help with this?
Map drift is when the map is shifted with reality. Basically if you park your core on the dock and it is charging and the app view shows its not on the dock, that is map drift. What you may be experiencing is poor GPS which will shift over to PPVS using dead reckoning (DR). This can let the core run without GPS for as far as you have your PPVS settings set for. DR loses precision over time and distance traveled. IF it is related to this, then YES, the Pro antennas would help here.
Yes, as Bryan mentioned, if the issue is caused by poor GPS signal, upgrading to the Pro antennas may help improve the situation in your case.
This makes sense, I bumped up my PPVS setting when I was having issues mapping. I will bump that setting back down. Have my 3 antennas on order. Thanks guys!
