Duplicate Map Areas / Multiple Settings For Same Map Area

Map areas should either be able to be duplicated within the app or each map should be able to have multiple settings configurations. There are cases where specific mowing angles and offsets need to be used in order to minimize wear patterns and automatic rotation isn’t an option. In order to achieve this, an area should be able to either be duplicated so that new settings can be applied to the copy or multiple setups should be available using the same area so that each cutting job can select an explicit version of the are and settings and users can schedule alternating plans as desired.

Thank you for your suggestion. We appreciate the feedback, and we’ll pass it along to our product team if there’s more interest in this feature.

I was doing request of this same thing but then found this thread so I paste my message just to here. Maybe this counts to that “more interest in future”

It would be useful if zones could be duplicated. Different weather conditions require different settings. For example, in very cold temperatures the snow should be thrown at a low angle, while in milder weather it would be better to throw it at a 45-degree angle. During the first snowfalls, the blower also needs to be set higher because of gravel, whereas with frozen snowbanks it should be set lower.

For this reason, it would be helpful to be able to copy zones so that different presets can be configured for them, allowing work planes to be adapted to different weather conditions as well. When the area is large, modifying zones every time the weather changes becomes quite labor-intensive.

I think my preference would be to have ‘presets’ for work areas.

To use one of your examples - My driveway for snowblowing. It would be really useful to have some preset options that I can choose from, for example to select which direction to blow the snow depending on wind direction.

I could see presets being used for various adjustable settings, depending on what the end user desires.

You are right. Most probably it would be better to save settings to presets and bind those presets to zones at workplan.
