dysfunctions after firmware V3.13.11 update?

Patience… my first foray here

I’m an old fart who sorta knows how to use my iPhone.

Started working with Mower Pro in late April. Struggled. Discovered Firmware was not auto updating. Once support pushed update, Yarbo magically worked!

Three acre yard with lots of trees / canopy. Data center not optimal location (less than 120° - trees everywhere) and docking station under a tree. But I was able to make it work. Long path to the docking station allowed it to return to charge. Sometimes to start a plan I would have to drive rover “into the sun” to get adequate satellite to initiate. But it worked. Most of the yard I could mow with only an occasional need to nudge after losing GPS. Never was there an accident where the mower significantly crossed a boundary. Rarely were there missed blades of unmowed grass.

After June 5, it has mowed into three gardens (two, on opposite sides of the same rectangle plan), there are frequent, often broad “mohawks” of missed mowing (up to 4’), it sometimes mows the same path twice, it loses GPS and stops permanently (in places where it previously had no problem). I very frequently have to “nudge” it after losing/regaining GPS. It has mowed into the adjacent street. There are areas of my yard with clear sky and L2>10, yet still mohawks. Damn thing is erratic and incompetent.

App V3.18.6.

Firmware V3.13.11

I have removed the battery for >5 hours.

I have (reset) PPVS distances to the max.

I have swapped RTK antennas

I have had too many beers.

I have returned to my Deere tractor mower.

Would rather be sober and use Yarbo.

Thoughts?

If you have the time frames, I would open a ticket so they can pull the logs and investigate.

Hi there, I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re experiencing.

I’ve checked your support ticket and seen your updates regarding the location of your docking station and the data center, as well as the problematic areas in your yard.

Could you please also add to your ticket the most recent timestamp when the issue occurred? This will help our team retrieve the relevant logs if needed and investigate more accurately.

Feel free to tag me if you need any further follow-up from my side.

Be careful with this one. Max values can result in it leaving Areas and entering NGZs when it loses GPS. It’s “estimating” its location based internal sensors. The delta between estimated and actual location can grow significantly the further it travels in this mode.
