Anyone got an ideas on why my Yarbo Pro Lawn Mower is mowing like it’s been drinking PBRs all day? It’s a soccer field with no obstacles or obstructions on it. See pics. Maybe a sensor or setting that I need to adjust?
What is your obstacle avoidance mode? Looks like it is avoiding things using vision. Switch to gentle contact (bumper only) mode and see if it stops doing this. Make sure there are NGZ’s around anything you don’t want it to bump into or back into.
Based on the lines shown in the picture, it does look like Yarbo may be avoiding something, which is causing the abnormal mowing pattern.
From your picture, the lawn appears to be flat and free of visible obstacles. You can try changing the obstacle avoidance mode to Gentle Contact and disabling the ultrasonic sensors to see if this helps Yarbo perform better.
Please also make sure that any areas that need protection are properly set as No-Go Zones.
If you continue to observe abnormal behavior after trying these adjustments, feel free to s
Looks like the false positive bug to me. Those big wide loops are the giveaway.
Yarbo should use THOSE pics in their marketing campaigns! ![]()
It was avoiding the soccer balls!

Thanks for the response, I’ll try that. Also related to this same issue (erratic cutting lines), the lighter green stripes were “no-cut” passes. Any reason why it would skip a lane? As you can see from the pictures, it happened several times and it appears that the “detours” that you can see in some of the tracks happen at those “no-cut” passes. It was like the vision sensor was detecting the uncut lane as an “obstacle” and tried to go around it.
Do you have PPVS under settings, Yarbo Labs enabled or disabled?
Ok, good. It might just be the obstacle avoidance then. Try the gentle contact (bumper only mode) and see if that helps solve both issues.
