Agreed, escape logic needs a lot of attention for all modules and accessories.
I have witnessed the same behavior. Manually I raise the snowblower, and back up, that simple. It seems it never tries to back up. I can sometime get it out by reversing, unless is buried itself so bad by trying to keep going forward. Raising and going forward does not work.
It does back up, but I think the logic being run is to avoid the control joints in concrete or a paver edge in a paver driveway, as it only backs up until it’s a couple inches from the original loss of traction point. I would prefer if we could set it to got back X # of Yarbo lengths, defaulted to 2. If it gets stuck in the same spot then mark it as a pavement joint that needs to be avoided. Maybe even a surface type setting and the escape logic changes.
