Completely raise auger when backing out of a sidewalk

I have set up a number of snowblower sidewalks and selected the option for Yarbo to back out of them instead of doing a zero turn.

What I’m seeing is, when Yarbo backs down the sidewalk, sometimes the auger gets caught on uncleared snow and as a result Yarbo gets stuck and pauses the work plan.

I think it would be really beneficial for Yarbo to raise the auger before backing up. A very simple thing, by the would prevent the auger blade from getting caught on any snow or ice.

I agree that would be helpful. The less it gets stuck the better for me.

I think this is a great idea.

Seems to me this should be a fairly easy thing to implement. I hope @Yarbo-Forum sees this thread and adds this to the to-do list.

Yup happened to me a few times today, track slippage module height <= 2”, raise it back up a second or 2 and hit resume

Thanks for your suggestion! I’ve shared it with our product team for further evaluation.

I know I’m late to the party but I have to manually raise the auger on two of my sidewalks because it gets stuck backing out almost every time. Once I raise the auger and hit resume it usually finishes just fine.

Hopefully we will see this in a firmware update this season. Sure will be helpful.

This needs to be incorporated into the app

And it should raise all the way before moving the tracks👍
