I go and pull out towards the front or the back manually. to get it unstuck, then resume, yarbo will do always a 180 turn back to the error spot, getting stuck worse tham it was, since there are sidewalks of tick hard snow.
When unstuck manually by the user after the slipping message, it should just continue straight and not return, (areas might be ok) sidewalks or pathways creates a nightmare, as you will unstuck it and it will stick itself again then you have to unstuck it again.
Yes that’s stupid. That’s also the way it does with deadends and pathways. Yarbo brags it has two antennas so it always knows where it is and what direction it’s facing. so it shouldn’t be necessary to do a 180° turn when you hit resume.
Agreed. My guess is, it does the turn for some sort of calibration and to orient itself, but I have found that to be unnecessary. It’s always oriented correctly in the app. That insistence on backing up when starting seems unnecessary and can cause more problems than it actually solves. Certainly more wear and tear on the lawn and other parts on the unit.
