Fenced back yard with no autonamus access to Charging Station. Gate

Anyone with experience on how to map or set up a work area that is totally fenced, contains mischievous dogs, and does not have access to charging station when task is completed. Where does the Rover go? Park? Is this programmable? Might be interesting if the rover had some means to electonically control a swinging gate like a saloon door to enter/exit work area. Could have an optical eye like garage door but the dogs may learn to control such a gate. Technology already exists as my dogs wear a RF transmitter which operates the pet door allowing them to come-and-go as they please. Maybe I could attatch a simular unit to the Rover. Ideas, suggestions? Steve

Thanks, Mr. Wheeler
Remind me how to set up a virtual dock

Enter your yard, edit map, tap the three dots, then docking station, then + and when asked about a charging station, say “I don’t have one”. Note that it follows the same rules as a regular docking station so it can’t be inside the mapped area and you’ll need a pathway from it to the area.

Thanks, I’ll try it
