Here we go. New unexpected 3.11.0 behavior. It does a 90 degree rotation while sitting on the dock before starting every workplan. This one took out the metal poles for the doghouse cover that’s been on all summer. $70 cover is now trashed. You can’t make this up. See video.
I can’t see how the bumper wouldn’t have hit the poles, but I wasn’t watching when it happened. I came out to a mangled mess of poles and tarp. But, it was out cutting the grass care free like nothing had happened, so I had that going for me. I liken it to coming home to find your dog ate your couch and is now sleeping on the floor enjoying his day
I can’t wait to hear what edge case is causing this behavior. It was getting dark when I discovered it, so I haven’t played with things yet. I do have a no vision zone there, so it would enter the dog house without detecting it as an object.
This is potentially dangerous behavior. Would have been nice if this “known issue” had been shared. I could have removed the shelter. Lots of us have some type of enclosure that’s about to get eaten.
My Yarbo lives under one of those large dog houses too.
It’s probably good that I hadn’t received the update yet. Cause most likely it would have destroyed mine too. Now that I know about the bug, I can act accordingly.
“Known issue! We are working on it now.”
Is it so hard to drop a note in the forum for folks to be able to take some appropriate RE-action to your “known issue” bugs? If you do that, it will save a lot of apologizing later…
Tim
