First, we’d like to sincerely apologize to those who have been waiting for the update of Firmware 3.9.10 and App 3.15.3. During the rollout process, we identified a rare corner-case bug and worked on a hotfix over the past week to resolve it.
Starting July 1st, we will begin a phased rollout of Firmware 3.9.16 and App version 3.15.4.
The update will be released in batches, beginning with users who have not yet received Firmware 3.9.10, and then gradually expanding to all users.
What’s Improved in This Update?
Firmware Version 3.9.16 – Optimizations & Fixes
Fixed an issue where Yarbo would randomly pause during automatic work plans without displaying any error message.
Enhanced log printing functionality to provide more detailed information for troubleshooting.
App Version 3.15.4 – Optimizations
Improved charging failure notifications related to battery overheating, offering clearer and more accurate user guidance.
How to Update
Ensure your Yarbo is powered on and connected to the internet. The firmware update will be installed automatically.
Please make sure your Yarbo app is also updated to the latest version, as the new firmware requires compatibility with the newest app version.
We truly appreciate your continued support and patience as we work to deliver the best possible experience.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us at support@yarbo.com — we’re always happy to help.
When should we contact support if we have not received?
What configuration should the communications methods be in?
Per user recommendations that have worked well, i have my wifi to core turned off. Mobile is on but has never shown any usage. I have terrible signal here. Showing great HaLow connection and my Data Center shows good connection from my routers app.
I have my core attached to WiFi for the update. (I forget network for mowing. It DOES make a huge difference in my experience to have WiFi DISCONNECTED when mowing.)
The app update to 3.15.4 isn’t available yet, at least for Apple devices. I expect we won’t see the firmware update before the App update is posted… Fingers crossed though.
@Ryan@ken.w.gregory you don’t need to connect to WiFi. If HaLow is working it will update on that as long as your data center is connected to the internet.
So a workplace that is executing is an auto plan. I assumed auto plans were things like return to charge and return to work in the middle of a work plan.
Ideally you shouldn’t be on WiFi unless support needs you to for some reason. But, stationary it shouldn’t hurt anything. It’s when you start going in and out of range and switching between mesh nodes that issues can potentially occur. HaLow is a form of WiFi. Just a different frequency which being in 915MHz range it will go further and through objects better than traditional WiFi.
As planned, we will be rolling out the update in the next three days, assuming everything goes smoothly. If you have not received the update by Saturday, feel free to contact us. As for the configuration, your current setup should be fine to receive the update. We appreciate your patience and understanding while waiting for the update.
