Flexible RTK Antenna

I have seen videos with flexible RTK antenna installed on the Yarbo Core. Are these available for purchase? I have broken several RTK antennas when Yarbo passes under a bush.

My suggestion (because it worked for me even after running into several logs) is the free 3D printable flexible mounts. It essentially allows the antenna cable to flex and then go back in position. Needs to be printed with TPU.

The second best free 3D option is a brace that just pops on top of the low mounts. I actally carried around a few 2x4s (don’t ask) and the antennas were totally fine with these braces on.

I like the first option since it’s a bit more foolproof and worked through the winter (the antenna mounts a bit higher than the “low” mount) but it is a pain to print.

The RTK antenna itself is the same as the standard one. What you’ve likely seen in those videos is the antenna paired with a flexible high mount, rather than a different (flexible) antenna.

The High RTK Antenna Mount you mentioned above is available on our official website. High RTK Antenna Mount | Yarbo Accessories It’s designed to provide more flexibility and help reduce the risk of damage when passing under obstacles like bushes.

This setup should help minimize the chances of the antenna getting broken.

Where is the print file for the flexible TPU mount? I can only find the guards…thanks

Do you have a link for the flexible one?

Awesome, thanks!

Do you have another link?

Thank you!!

You can try this Mod I did about a year ago now works great. Like a turtles shell. Every low limb slides over with no problems. Home Depot or Lowes has sheets of Plexi-Glass ready to go. 20 in. x 32 in. x 0.093 (3/32) in. Clear is what I used. I just cut the corners smooth, and drilled a couple of holes.

I got the file, thanks!!

The file name is low mount, but this kind of seems like a middle height mount, correct? I can always stretch it out. The top is open. Do you swap over the top pieces on the original tall mounts? I removed the screws, and I can’t get them off.

How did you print them? Orca auto orients them standing up, which makes sense.

You need to print with TPU which is a pain, but is flexible. Yes, they are “mid-mount” so I keep them on year-round. You just feed the cable through, so there’s nothing to break, the cable can only flex.

No, you don’t use any part of the low or tall mounts, only the antenna and cable.

So you just place the RTK on top? Doesn’t it flop around?

no, in fact it’s almost hard to get it in there. it pushes inside like a sleeve and holds on tight.

Yes, after I printed one it made more sense.

Thank you!!

I extended mine a bit.

Unfortunately the file bin is expired again. Do you have another link, please?
