Front yard mapping with a sidewalk

Continuing the discussion from Mapping my yard tips:

Hey Bryan,

Thanks for the good information. One more question. Should I map my treelawn, and front yard (divided by a sidewalk) together as one area, or separete?

Please advise and thanks for being such a commited Yarbo expert. I appreciate the time and effort you put into helping us all.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the kind words. I would probably map each side of the sidewalk separately. But if you want the lines the mower leaves to line up, it would be easier to map it as one full area. This assumes you are ok with it driving over the sidewalk and leaving cut grass, mud, etc on the sidewalk. If you have any pics you want to share or satellite view or anything, the community can offer some creative suggestions I am sure.
