GPS signal stability problems after the latest update

When the GPS goes green, it should center again. Sometimes it can take a while to go fully green if it has been sleeping a while. Keep the app open and see if it eventually goes green. Could take 5-10 mins.

Thanks @bryan.wheeler - its been an hour +.

That is long enough for sure. What does your diagnostics screen look like?

This is with PPVS Off

That looks fine, GPS should be green with those readings. Wonder what it would look like with PPVS on? DC Connection status 2 or 3 and Halow -80 or less?

Halow is -41, DC Connection 3. Tried with it on too.

All sounds good. If you rebooted everything, does your DC CNR values look OK? You can throw it in survey mode by clicking details under the RTK section of the diagnostics. You need CNR values for most of the constellations to be around 36 or higher.

All check out. And just like that, we are not back to green.

Makes no sense. Has to be a bug or something that isn’t exposed to us in the diagnostics. I would suggest opening a ticket at this point for them to try and diagnose it. Probably related to whatever longstanding issue they sent you the new antennas for.

I have opened so many tickets, had two calls with engineers, one of which was at 1AM. Its a total dead end. No new antennas yet. Oh, and it ran, came back and docked. Back to No GPS.

What is your Travel Along Boundary without GPS setting in the Yarbo Lab Tab?
Mine was 0ft and Yarbo would launch and stop because my pad is snug up against a boundary. So with Yellow GPS it stops. So with a boundary distance set to 0ft you HAVE to have green GPS to move. That’s how I see it. I set my boundary travel distance to like 15ft and it has solved that problem for me. Try it out and lemme know if it works for you.

Not getting any GPS, have that turned off right now. I have had that from default to max.

Copy. Set it to something other than zero though. Otherwise I can’t imagine if it were set to zero and you’re outside a boundary how it could move.

L2=13 is nothing, looks like gps is not fixed and therefore quality is 0.
My L2 =19 sometimes 20 immediately ~2-3 seconds (yellow to green GPS icon on the main screen) after entering required Yarbo unit in the Yarbo app.
Location EU (data from 09Nov2025 23:39 CET)

Anyone have an algorithm answer? Based on his postion on the map if @mike1 has the value at 0ft how could the Yarbo move?

Me too.

7 minutes later….

@jso You are not comparing apples to apples - you have Dead Reconning on so that is why you see quality. Turn it off and it will go to zero. 13 L2 is Nothing? Under 4 is the old standard of being too low.

Yup that’s what happens when I toggle PPV on and off. But what are you saying? That Dead Reckoning is doing the heavy lifting and not GPS
