Hotfix Update: Firmware V3.13.11 & App V3.18.6

Am I reading that to get a consistent and fine cut, i have to revert back to the razor blades?

When I first started using the pro this Spring, the cut was awesome. Since then it looks like a bad hair cut even with new sharp blades.

I think I found a pattern after observing the mower.

  1. It stops when the mower module is lower than the core. I can lift the mower module to level them, then it starts to spin the disks again.
  2. It stops more frequently during daytime when the temperature is above 22 degrees Celsius and the sun is shining (or something like that). Due to frequent stops I have had to run some ares during the night, and that seems to work better as it hardly stops at night.

Do the mower have temperature sensitive connections or sensors that is loosing the connection or reads wrong values when the temperature in the mower gets over a certain level? Just a thought as I think I saw something about Yarbo starting with the snowmodule, which requires connections and sensors for cold weather - those might not work as well in hot weather.

Anyone recognise this?

You are not the first one to mention the thermal aspect. The lifting up and working does sound like a wiring harness issue though. I imagine they will replace your module, as this is what most everyone whose had this issue has had done.

Any wire I have had to deal with has zero slack. So that makes sense when modules have to move.

But why does it not stop during the night then? If it is only a harness issue it should be deterministic and stop the same places during day and night, right?

And yes, they will replace it, but vacation is only 4 weeks and transportation might take longer, then I need to do a 1000 km round-trip to the summer house where it is placed. Trying to pick a new one from a local dealer but they are unable to provide a list of dealers in Sweden. And, no, the find a dealer page does not work for Sweden, not searching, not browsing, and not zooming.

I think the ambient heat, operational heat, or lack of slack on wires is the culprit. I would suspect it won’t duplicate the problem when it isn’t hot.

Expansion and contraction for different temps plus movement can make wire harness issues non-deterministic and hard to pin down. Seeing as how replacing the modules are fixing it. Now whether or not it could be a misreading or miscalibrated temp sensor, I would think that would be easy to identify and would’ve been fixed with a software update by now. My guess is, this will eventually stop working at night too. So, it seems like a hardware issue vs a software one. Hope I’m wrong and they figure out a solution for you without a replacement.
