Dear Yarbo Family,

We hope you are doing well.

To further enhance the security and privacy protection of Yarbo, we are rolling out Hotfix Firmware V3.13.14.

The hotfix will be released in batches and is expected to be fully deployed within a week.

What’s included in this update?

  • Network Security Architecture Upgrade

How to update:

Please make sure your Yarbo is powered on and connected to the internet. The new firmware will be installed automatically once it becomes available for your device.

Please note: There is no new app version with this release.

If you have not received the firmware update after a week, please feel free to contact us at support@yarbo.com.

How long does the device usually stay in standby mode after connecting to the network before it automatically triggers an update?

It has been two hours, but the firmware version on the device remains unchanged.

The updates are rolling. Takes up to a week. As long as your machine is powered on, it will get updated when it’s your time.

Got it sometime over the weekend. No issues so far.

ha ha ha. lastes update has made yarbo try to reverse down the charging station. until it stops and sends a notification that it is out of boundary.

So you mean the Yarbo was docked. Then when it was supposed to drive off the dock to begin a task, it reversed while on the dock instead of driving forward??

That’s a new one.

yes exactly. it is a machine that is out at a customer so I didn’t see it live. but saw it on the app when I started. reversed 3 times then stopped. and I manually drove it out to the area. Bluetooth is good but not so good Bryan. :grin: 12 km. :grin:

Yes. but haven’t experienced it before. Maybe Yarbo had forgotten it was in reverse. :thinking::grin:

I think its time we start ending our posts with a question to @Yarbo-Forum requesting when will the next SW / HW updated will be provided?

From what I’ve been able to piece together, the PPPs are beta testing now, but … I would think they are under an NDA until an official release date.
