I have one long edge of woods that I want the blower to use. No matter what I try, it decides to take almost a quarter of the lawn and blow perpendicular to the woods out into the front yard and then try (and fail) to blow that heavy pile of leaves to the woods.
No matter how I change the direction, it seems to prefer making a huge perpendicular row in the middle of the yard that it fails to blow.
I want it to stop blowing the blue area toward the red and instead blow toward the green.
I’d try to draw more areas on the top of existing one (or splitting existing or combination of both) with the different blowing direction.
For example to blow left side (Area 2) to the south east first and to blow right side (Area1) to south or south east after.
As @jso suggested, you can try dividing the area into smaller zones and then set the leaf blowing direction for each one. This may help improve the results.
I would rather not spend 45+ minutes remapping 11,000 sqft to see if that works around the problem. I’d like to figure out how to convince my Yarbo to blow in the direction of the border I’ve laid out.
Hello Team, I have a general question on first time using the leaf blower. What I have done is sent the leaf blower to an area where it was mapped for mowing. Then I modified the area and set the blowing direction. See picture below. Can this be done this way or do I have to create a new leaf blower map?
No need to create a new area. You did it correctly. But you may want to check your DC as the HaLow isn’t connected but instead your home wifi which is very poor signal. Might be an issue when running your plan.
Thanks Bryan. another question or two. Why is the HaLow isn’t connected? because the leaf blower does not have the capability or software, etc? I did run into a small issue, first the plan was too long over 2 hours, so did not want to wait because it was just a trial. second Yarbo did not know how to come back to charging station. I figured I will try it again later, but I wanted to make sure it is ok to use a mowing area map.
This is what I was referring to. That indicates WiFi and not HaLow. Leaf blower should be able to use HaLow. That is a core function, not tied to the module. If you check your diagnostics, you may see that under HaLow, it says False. I would unplug your DC power for 5 mins and plug it back in. If that icon changes to the HaLow one, you are good.
