How to swap sim card?

RE: Your own SIM Card – In the release notes for V3.9.1 (or .10):

More Cellular Providers are Supported: Yarbo now detects most cellular providers globally. You can now insert your own SIM card, giving you greater control over 4G connectivity and provider choice.

So just to be clear, this means we can now go to our carrier, get a SIM card for adding a data only “device” to our plan, and then use our own SIM card right? Where can I find the IMEI number for the mower?

Curious why you would want your own SIM card? Unless Yarbo’s doesn’t work in your area.

Especially because it’s free. Yes you can use your carriers SIM. You’d have to ask Yarbo support for the IMEI unless your carrier can determine it from the current ICCID displayed in the diagnostics.

I’m not necessarily looking to swap the SIM now, but I can’t imagine that Yarbo will indefinitely offer free cell service to a growing customer base for the next 20 years or more as these devices age. At some point either Yarbo will start charging for it, or we’ll need to provide our own. I’m just trying to think ahead and be prepared.

It’s free for 2-years, so you have some time.

I also hit the 4GB cap. I was told to use my own SIM card - so I ordered one. Will it be able to work on the Yarbo? I am on a farm, and I know the halo will not reach the front of my property. Thanks!

Yes, you can use your own SIM card. The SIM card slot is in the top front (as you face the rear) right side of the battery compartment

As Bryan suggested, you can use your own SIM card. For your reference, here is the location of the SIM card slot.

Found it and activated it today. Google Fi offers free SIM cards and doesn’t charge for the data, so all clear!
