How to Use Geo-Fence to Ensure the Safety of Your Yarbo?

What is Geo-Fence?

Yarbo’s Geo-Fence feature allows you to set a virtual boundary around your property, enhancing the safety and security of your device. If Yarbo crosses this predefined area, it will automatically stop, sound an alarm, and send alerts to your phone. This added layer of protection ensures you’re immediately notified if your Yarbo is moved or tampered with—giving you greater peace of mind.

How to Set Up Geo-Fence

1. Access Geo-Fence Settings

  • From the main page, tap the settings icon to enter Yarbo Settings.

  • Select Privacy and Security, then tap Geo-Fence.

2. Set a Geo-Fence for the First Time

  • Tap Start to begin drawing your Geo-Fence.

  • After finishing the boundary, tap Next. The start and end points will automatically connect to form a closed area.

  • If you’re not satisfied with the shape, tap Withdraw to go back a step, or tap the red sweep icon to clear the entire geo-fence and start over.

  1. After tapping Next, you can either Save the geo-fence or tap Back to make further adjustments.

  2. Enable or Disable Geo-Fence

  • Use the Geo-Fence toggle at the bottom of the screen to turn the feature on or off.
  1. Edit or Delete an Existing Geo-Fence
  • You can update or remove your Geo-Fence anytime by accessing the same settings menu.

Note that you draw the Geofence on the screen by tapping your start point and then a few endpoints until you click Next to finish. You don’t map it by driving the rover around.
