There are times when yarbo will suspend a plan because it hits something or otherwise is stuck. If I take manual control of the paused plan to “help” yarbo mow/blow that spot, it should account for that in the plan. That way when I resume the plan, it does t try to pick up where it left of, only to get stuck again.
If you line it back up on the planned path line and don’t go too far forward, you can sometimes trick it into thinking it has. Regardless, advancing the plan forward in 0.1% increments would be an easy option for them to add to get around this.
Thanks for sharing this suggestion! We can definitely see the value in avoiding Yarbo returning to the same trouble spot after manual intervention.
Automatically recognizing which areas were actually completed during manual control could be a bit tricky, since manual driving may sometimes just be used to reposition or free Yarbo.
Another possible approach could be to let users choose a specific point on the planned route for Yarbo to resume from. That might offer a simpler and more flexible way to handle situations like this.
We’d love to hear what others think as well.
This sounds good, but I would assume it would be more complicated than just having an option in the app to advance the plan by fractions of a percentage. Either way would be great though.
