If you need to spread some gravel

Funny story. My first test run with the snow blower. I still have some summer stuff in driveway, namely some bags of gravel. I mapped around them for now, but I guess I pressed my luck. Cash got a bit close, and actually grabbed a corner of a bag when backing up. I was sitting in my garage watching, and as soon as I saw it, I realized my doom and quickly struggled with my phone to stop the plan. Cash had pulled the bag just enough to line it up precisely with the gaping yaw of its mouth, with guards dutifully removed in prep for plow blade when needed. I mean, after all, my big JD blower never had any silly guards on front! So I’m staring horrified at Cash as he’s perfectly aligned with a 50 lb bag of gravel with the blades and chute aimed directly at me sitting in a lawn chair 10 feet in front of him. Well I was just a bit too slow, as Cash rolled into that bag, ripping into it with a horrible growl of pea pebbles getting chewed up and spit out in a hail of projectiles right at me. I got him stopped ok, and no damage done, but what a hilarious and momentarily horrifying comedy of error! Bright side, test went great, and I’m ready for snow! I do love my Cash! :+1::+1:

I’ve shredded mulch with mine. Note to self: turn off dock clean if you mount your dock in a mulch flower bed.

Glad you both survived undamaged to clear snow for the season. I would recommend checking that you didn’t break a shear pin or two. If the auger spins freely, you most likely did.

Haha, yeah, I’m all set lol. Thanks for the feedback! (Turns out I did catch it on video on my garage cam - pretty ugly noise it made!
