iOS App Request - Notifications

The app doesn’t seem to use notifications well. IE, when my yarbo gets stuck/track slip and is paused… I don’t get notifications. Pop-up banners would be useful.

If the app is open you won’t get a push notification. If you close the app you should definitely get a push for track slippage as an example. More push notifications are being added every release

+1 for better/more predictable notifications…

I had a track slippage today, no notification…
I had a map drift, unable to start plan, no notification…
I had a ‘module lift’ error - no notification (but also couldn’t clear the error, had to disable it)

Then I do get schedule work start notifications (sometimes), and work plan completed notifications (50/50)

Are you using more than one device and are you closing the app or leaving it backgrounded. I believe it sends the notifications to the device that started the plan and if it’s backgrounded, it sends the notification in app (I’m assuming). All that aside, I have seen some instances where I do not get notified either.

One device only - and not closing the app.

This topic needs addressed. Notifications should always bubble up to the phone if the app is open or it’s the current app on the screen we should get notified. A number of times now I’ll go to check on yarbo to see what it’s doing and it’ll just be sitting for one reason or another. I just had it sitting for who knows how long because of track slippage. If I would have gotten a notification I could have handled it right away. The only notification that gets sent out of the app to the phone is when a plan is finished. If that notification works correctly the other should also.

I would love to see notifications working also.

Track slippage is a supported notification. But it does seem to work only 50/50. I agree, I should be overwhelmed with notifications from the unit and then let me select the ones I want or don’t want.
