Push Notifications (New Thread)

I just installed my Yarbo Pro and I find it very odd that I don’t get any push notifications when it is stuck. I was hoping to be able to set it and let it go, and be notified if there are issues, instead I have to regularly check the app to make sure that it is still running. This seems like a really big miss for the product.

While the notifications aren’t perfect, you should be getting some. Check this article and make sure you have notifications enabled. Also check your phone’s Yarbo app notifications settings too. How to Turn On/Off In-App Notifications | Yarbo Wiki

Hi there, thanks for sharing this — totally understand where you’re coming from.

At the moment, not all error states will trigger push notifications. We know this isn’t ideal, especially for a set-and-forget experience like you described.

That said, we’re also trying to strike a balance between keeping users informed and avoiding excessive or disruptive notifications. Finding that right level is something we’re actively working on improving.

Your feedback here is really valuable, and I’ll make sure it’s passed along to the team as we continue refining the notification system.

Simple solution for this - Allow users to select which categories of notifications they want to receive. Some people want to be notified about ‘everything‘. Some people only want to be notified about critical issues.

Let users selectively choose for themselves, and you will end up with more satisfied (and informed) customers overall.
