Yarbo alarms on Iphone

Hi, I’m I missing something to get notified by my Iphone when my Yarbo is stuck or needs any assistance? I have everything enabled in setup – notifications – Yarbo on my Iphone. Is there another option in the app? Haven’t find anything that wasn’t enabled for alerts in the app. Should it make a sound or vibrate when there’s a problem? Only way I could check if my Yarbo wasn’t in error while working was by checking the Yarbo app.

I agree that this feature is needed! I don’t think there is any way to get notifications at the moment. It’s a problem.

Notifications are a work in progress but there are things that currently will send a push notification. Track slippage as an example. Out of boundary, geofence alerts, work plan completed, etc. They add more it seems with each firmware update. I agree that you should not have to open the app to know if there is any type of issue. Hopefully they get some more notifications added soon.

Work Plan completed notification is hit-and-miss for me. Out of more than a dozen completions I may see one or two notifications. It comes with that funky sound you can’t miss.

Agree, I don’t always get it either. But USUALLY if the app is backgrounded the notifications go there instead of the push notifications. So, I always force close the app (force of habit for me anyways).

As Bryan mentioned, the Yarbo app currently sends notifications for specific events—such as when auto-recharging fails or when a plan is paused due to a collision. However, not all abnormal situations will trigger a notification. This is because our product team aims to strike a balance between keeping users informed and avoiding excessive or unnecessary alerts.

That said, we truly value your feedback. If there are particular situations where you feel a notification would be helpful—like when Yarbo gets stuck—we’d love to hear about them. Your input helps us continue improving the experience.

On another notification issue, on days that yarbo isn’t scheduled to mow, I get
notified that yarbo is scheduled to start in five minutes when it is not scheduled that day.

I’ve heard this is just a bug. You should open a support ticket for them to track it.

I think if we would have a page where we could select the push notifications we want to receive or not, that would be perfect for every situations. Thanks!
