Welp, it finally happened to me.
I got the updated Yarbo app and went to start playing with Yarbo. App couldn’t connect to it. Hmm. Dragged Yarbo out of its doghouse, unplugged the battery and reconnected it. Still wouldn’t turn on. Hmm. That’s weird.
Ended up dragging the heavy beast all the way to my garage. Dug out the external charger and connected it. Waited a few minutes and was able to turn Yarbo on. Battery at 1%.
I have no idea how long Yarbo was in this state, as I haven’t used it in around a week. Hopefully no damage was done to the battery.
But WHY IN THE WORLD didn’t I receive a notification on my phone that the battery was getting low?? Seems like I should have received numerous warnings before the battery went all the way to zero.

I do believe this notification does exist so it begs the question why it didn’t send it. I’d also really like to see a critical power deep sleep and shutdown.
I also really do recommend the battery cable power cord accessory. Very handy when you need to charge the battery directly instead of through the core itself.
If you have Yarbo points to spend, it’s a good option to use them on.

Good point about the Battery cable cord. It would have really come in handy for me today. In my opinion, that cord should come in the box with Yarbo.

Hi @rgloverii It’s unclear whether this issue is related to the recent update since Your Yarbo hasn’t been used for about a week. Please submit a ticket to support@yarbo.com — our team will review the logs to find out what caused it.
