My Yarbo ran out of battery (due to the dock issues support is helping me with), I plugged it in for a couple hours and but it still says offline. I trying to turn it on using the silver button on the back but a couple blue lights blink on in the back and nothing else happens.
Is there something else I need to do to wake it up or turn it on?
Thanks!
Try holding the silver power button for 45-60 seconds and see if it will come back online afterwards.
Hi there,
I’m sorry to hear about the charging issues you’re experiencing. I’ve checked your support ticket #105593, and I can confirm that it has been escalated to our R&D team. Based on our current investigation, it appears that the issue may be related to the docking station. Our support team will reach out to you through the support ticket with more details on the next steps.
Thank you for your patience and understanding!
I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. I was very upset till yarbo told me you need to hold the power button for at least 60 sesconds….lights were going on and off and noises then it raised its head up and back to biz…. id try that see if it helps….
@Yarbo-Forum - This happened to me last night as well. Just sitting on the dock green light on charger still flashing but offline in app. Had to do a hard reset to bring it back. Seems like there have been a few more of these reports since V3.9.29. Something to watch.
Had something similar (but not exactly) happening yesterday night. It was mowing and then stopped for no reason (GPS green, not even marked as suspended in the app). Just not moving with lights on. Completely unresponsive in the app (pause, end, whatever). On/off button unresponsive. I did the hold 60seconds button trick (I saw it reboot at about 45s) but held it up to 60s. Then it rebooted normally and I was even able to resume the workplan… Probably a system crash but thanks for the “long press” reboot advice!
Thank you for sharing your experience. At the moment, we haven’t identified any new bugs related to this issue in the V3.9.29 update, but we’ll definitely continue monitoring it closely. It would be greatly appreciated if you could submit a support ticket so our team can look into it in more detail.
I have an open ticket in on it stopping with lights on (#95381) - I could use Smart Vision and drive it, else not much. Hasn’t done it in a while, but if folks are seeing something similar, it’s still there somewhere.
At the time I hard power cycled the rover and Data Center, but I guess a simple reboot will do it? Was able to resume the work plan, as you were.
In my case no DC reset was required. It was all Rover. a hard reset resolved. I’ll watch for a repeat and open a ticket. This one was late at night and I didn’t note the time.
Yeah, if you’re Rover ever ran out of battery, the only fix for me was to pull out the cord charger. Plug it up in the rear, of course you’ll have to drop the rear bumper sensor to access it. In my case I remove front and rear bumper sensor because it keeps having collision issues, well, comes to find out my front bumper sensor has debris stuck in it. So I left it off. But yeah, cord charger will revive a 0% battery, wireless charger won’t work if battery has zero charge.
