When snow blowing/plowing, there are times when yarbo will get “persistent” in trying to get to a spot on map to work which has snow or ice build up, making Yarbo get stuck or unable to get to where it needs to. Giving yarbo app a way to “skip x%” would let us tell yarbo to continue past a point.
Great idea. that applies to the other modules as sell. It’s a good way to manually control the “problem area” then let Yarbo know to skip ahead.
Love the idea!
Definitely is and I believe it is requested here a few times. They need to just do this. Makes sense and doesn’t seem that complicated.
Hopefully we see something like this. Like a 1, 5, 10, 20 ft Fast Forward Feet button. (FFF)
You Americans always going on about your feet. ![]()
Ha. Yes
So crazy. They tried to switch us over when I was younger. Tested us all. Clearly they were like, “nah, too dumb” go hang out with
and

Only one measurement system has walked on the moon.
Just sayin.
I’m one of those Americans they tried to convert in our youth. Didn’t stick with me either. ![]()
As an engineer we need to just switch…
There was that whole Mars orbiter issue in 1999, though🤪
Agreed. EU needs to go back to Imperial, and the rest of the world should adopt it. ![]()
I had some choice words regarding path finding and obstacle avoidance that I collected in my post here: Thinking differently about path finding
Some of those suggestions would address your concerns too I think.
This would be great for that one little GPS dead zone (the size of a surfboard) on the side of my house. Jump ahead would be better than me blind remote controlling it from work for 10 feet.
Hahaha
Thanks for your suggestion and I’ll share this with our product team for evaluation.
This (or any of the alternative suggestions on the thread) would be a great improvement. It’s pretty frustrating going out and getting Yarbo unstuck, just to have it drive itself back into exactly the same spot and get stuck again.
Actually, you know what would be handy as well? A progress wheel. As in, not only could you type in a number for the percent complete, but then provide an on screen slider or wheel that you can turn to incrementally move the progress forwards or backwards. And even show the progress on the screen. i.e. show the map and the planned path and highlight or color change the line to show the requested “progress” and move the highlight/color as you turn the wheel so you can hit where you want it to start with some precision.
I like that
Great idea!
