So when there are multiple passes needed due to amount of snowfall, snow accumulates and Yarbo gets stuck at the edges of the Mapp area and constantly tries and fails to clear that spot. Instead, can we manually move it out, and allow Yarbo to continue from a different point in the map? Only option right now is to cancel the plan which leaves the rest of the area uncleared. Restarting will only lead to the same stuck spot and effectively blocks cleaning.
A move forward in the current plan has been commonly requested for situations like this. Alternatively, you can stop the plan and start it again at 1% higher than it was previously at.
Thank you for letting us know about this issue — we understand how frustrating it can be when Yarbo repeatedly gets stuck at the map edges during heavy snowfall.
For now, you may refer to Bryan’s suggestion as a possible workaround to help you continue the cleaning process.
Regarding your suggestion about manually repositioning Yarbo and resuming from a different point on the map, we appreciate you sharing this idea. If more users express similar interest, I’ll be happy to pass this feedback along to our product team for further consideration.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience!
Jack has had that issue usually do to drifting at the edges of the work plan. What I did was just bump up the safety margin. Let it complete the perimeter loop. The reset the margin back down and start it again. Then it just had to deal with the tough spot and not the rest of the deep snow.
Just a thought
I have the same problem with Yarbo stuck at the edge of the driveway where the snow has been accumulating and making a wall which Yarbo keeps bumping into and stops
I’ve successfully done the same thing for really deep/drifting snow:
Man you guys got a pile of snow this year!!!
Run that with .2 or lower and you might have a dry driveway by tomorrow ![]()
I do run it with 0.2 cm augur Hight. Notice throwing the snow from the right to the left causing to build up a giant wall.
