Every so often, you can still see them (Yarbo) using the prototype battery banks at trade shows and outdoor demo events.
That’s all the early kickstarter concept stuff.
They had mockups of most of that stuff at CES a couple of years ago. Even the huge automated dock thing that was obviously impossible to implement. I suggested they stop showing that stuff because it makes them look like vaporware. I suggested they concentrate on refining the snowblower and the soon to be released mower.
Focus is good, and I appreciate their efforts there and it was sound advice. But CES is definitely the place for vaporware. You kinda have to show up with prototypes and concepts or have a nice shiny new product soon to be released in order to show some relevance there. I don’t envy their task of having to strike that balance. The competition is nipping at their heels.
