I think there may be two issues here @Yarbo-Forum. I would recommend they send him one for his DC too.
Installed new RTK wires and antennas and Yarbo is now 100% dead. Followed directions for replacement, reassembled, and Yarbo will not turn on. Anyone have any ideas. Does look like a loose connect of wires coming off the motherboard so wondering if that is the issue.
Unplug the battery cable and then check those wires and make sure they are all connected and tight. Reconnect the battery and try and power up. If it doesn’t, connect the wired charger and see if it is solid red. If so, the battery is charging. When it’s solid green, it is fully charged. Give it a few hours and try turning it on. You may have to hold the power button for up to 60 seconds. Ideally, you’d let it charge up overnight. If the battery is completely dead, it could take up to 24 hours to fully charge.
Battery was at 100% full charge an hour ago when I replaced the antennas. What would cause the battery to discharge so quickly when it was removed out of the unit?
Nothing should. Just force of habit when the unit won’t power on, it’s usually a dead battery. Sounds like it’s definitely not that. I’d still try the holding of the power button and wired charger though. Also make sure no cables got crimped reinstalling the cover.
Yea, I’d say its pretty dead! Checked the wires coming off the motherboard and one wire plug won’t stay connected very snug. Easily pulls out. I believe it’s in good enough to test. Disconnected battery, reconnected (again), held power button for 75 seconds, still nothing. Plugged the wired charger, no response, no lights, nothing…
I would document that in your ticket with photos, video, etc for support. Will help expedite the next step.
Will do. So frustrating.
Bummer! Hopefully Yarbo support will figure it out for you soon.
Hi there, I checked your ticket in our system and saw your recent update about this issue. Your ticket is now with our Field Service Engineers, and they will continue investigating it further.
Thank you for your patience while the team looks into this.
