Mapping a driveway with a turnaround island in it

Hello, I just mapped my driveway before this big storm but have had a few issues thus far. Mainly around the mapping of an island in the middle of my driveway that serves as a turnaround. While mapping I presumed Yarbo would realize that I was going up and down the driveway twice so it could see there are 2 pathways, but instead when it started working it assumed the driveway was just 1 big open area and kept getting stuck driving into the island. So I ended up manually adding no-go zones (too late to map it by driving around because the snow has hit now). Issue #1 with making it a no-go zone: I want to be able to tell Yarbo it’s ok to throw snow into the island. Issue #2 as you might be able to see from the attached screenshot is that instead of continuing to plow length-wise, when it gets into the turnaround section, it starts going width-wise which is extremely inefficient. Any thoughts on what can be done to get Yarbo to recognize what’s going on with my driveway better?

For what you currently have mapped, I would pick one side of the driveway and set the throw zone to only the one side. This will help with a more efficient pattern. Once you are able to remap, I would make at least 3 separate areas out of that one big one. If you want snow thrown into the NGZ area, then you will need to map that section into 2 separate areas (halves) and map the current NGZ section out of the area. If you’re using the plow, you can adjust the plow direction in the area settings when plow mode is enabled. Going to take some tweaking to get it the way you want and be sure and do some dry test runs after to see if it’s doing what you want. Set the auger height up and disable the auger in the work plan if you aren’t in plow mode.

Regarding your first issue, we’re sorry for the inconvenience. Under the current snow-throwing logic, Yarbo is unable to throw snow into a designated no-go zone. At this time, there is no option to override this behavior. You may refer to Bryan’s suggested workaround about splitting the area into separate zones, which may help you achieve a similar result.

As for your second issue, you may try Bryan’s suggestion to set the snow throwing direction to only one side, as this may help generate a more consistent and efficient clearing pattern.

We understand that some adjustments may be needed to achieve your desired result, and we truly appreciate your patience and feedback.
